The first official exhibition

Our current event is the first “official” exhibition of the two maquettes. While
the mock-ups have been seen by the press and officials earlier, and it was open
for a limited number of visitors in Karcag, at Nyíregyháza it is open to all scheduled visitors.

Following a brief stop at Karcag, the exhibition will now move to Nyíregyháza. From
October 1., 2024 the exhibition will be open for visitors upon appointment.
On the exhibition our junior volunteer guides, trained by experienced ExHis project trainers,
will present the model and the history around it. Through place-based learning, we aim to attract young people, educators, and educational
professionals to the exhibition, sharing the story of the Holocaust and its broader historical and
social context.
