The second public exhibition was in Mátészálka

Our next event was the the second public exhibition of the two maquettes. The mock-ups had been seen by the press and officials earlier at Karcag, and it was open to the public for the first time at Nyíregyháza. The next stop was Mátészalka.

Following a brief stop at Karcag, and a two week long exhibition at Nyíregyháza, from October 21., 2024 the exhibition will moved to Mátészalka where it was open for visitors upon appointment.
On the exhibition our junior volunteer guides, trained by experienced ExHis project trainers, will presented the model and the history around it.
Through place-based learning, we aimed to attract young people, educators, and educational professionals to the exhibition, sharing the story of the Holocaust and its broader historical and social context.
