
THE MAGNA CUM LAUDE-REUT FOUNDATION
THE MAGNA CUM LAUDE-REUT FOUNDATION (REUT) is a Romanian non-profit organization focusing on Holocaust remembrance and education and one of the leading Jewish Educational complexes in Europe. It was established in 1997 through the “Ronald S. Lauder” Foundation and currently hosts more than 400 students participating in the programs at the level of kindergarten, elementary school, secondary school, and high school, with English teaching, accredited by the Ministry of National Education of Romania. As an official member of the March of the Living Network, it also organizes several Holocaust Remembrance activities in the country, with a huge impact every year. The organization has extensive experience in providing educational programs for secondary school students, regularly participates in international Holocaust education workshops and discussions with historians, experts, and academics about new pedagogical methods, has a wide range of contact networks with other Romanian educational institutions, and is dedicated to the mission of raising the future ambassadors of goodwill and remembrance.
In the ExHis program, REUT is responsible for the organization of peer trainings in Romania.
